Elder Eco-Village Team
As a result of the community input session in September 2005, many participants were excited by the prospect of an elder village in the Commons that would provide assisted living, a respite centre and a temporary emergency care unit. This idea is still in the concept stage and requires planning and regulatory approval. Nevertheless, several people have already indicated their willingness to meet as part of this team at the appropriate time.
