Become a member of the Gabriola Commons Foundation
The Foundation oversee the financial and legal aspects of life on the Commons. It is the entity that holds title to the property for the benefit of the community and through which charitable donations flow.
Membership includes: voting at the Annual General Meeting, eligibility to serve as a trustee through an election process, stewarding the legal & financial process in the creation of a uniquely zoned and recognized community commons.
Donations (one-time, monthly or in-kind) are a great way to support the Gabriola Commons. See all the ways you can donate here.
The Gabriola Commons Coordinating Council is at the heart of Commons stewardship. It is the place where teams, projects and community members share ideas and information and ensure the health and well-being of the Commons. The discussion is always lively, energetic and creative.
The Council meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm at the Commons. Everyone is welcome to attend.
No membership required to attend Council or to participate in Commons’ life except as noted above.
